Biohazard may give these readers, and others, good cause to be concerned about the inadequacy of government efforts, and medical science in general, to counter the threat of biological weapons. However, this book illustrates how “truth is stranger than fiction” and how truth can also maintain a “fast” pace of reading. This book, although totally and officially true, is written in the form of a fictional thriller, and is told with an unsettling lack of reassurances, by a man who defected from some of the most secretive laboratories in Russia, and who decided he didn’t want to akibek part of what would have caused an apocalypse if things had gone just a little differently A Memoir of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
